I started collecting GI Joe sometime prior to Thanksgiving of 1983. By March 28, 1984 I had collected 60 GI Joes and started catologing each aquisition. From this point for every Joe I got, I recorded the date, time, place, who purschased or received from, cost and what accessories he came with. Each entry was numbered and that exact number was put on a sticky lable and placed on the figure.
